Reason for Pendency
Remarks	The 118th SEAC considered the proposal for revalidation as per the Judgment dated.02.11.2020 in WP(C) No.17533/2020 and 23 other cases. The Proponent and Consultant were present. the consultant made the presentation, The Committee directed the Proponent to submit certain additional documents. The 120th SEAC deferred for field inspection. The 123rd SEAC Meeting Committee discussed the Field Inspection Report in this regard and decided to recommend to the SEIAA to direct the proponent to comply with the some conditions within six months and on satisfactory submission of the compliance report of the above, the proponent will be eligible for revalidation of EC order with the project life often years from the date of issuance of the first EC order subject to review every five years. The 112th SEIAA Meeting Authority decided to consider the EC revalidation proposal recommended by SEAC subject to the following conditions: 1. The proponent shall attend all the observations made by SEAC within 6 months and submit a compliance report to SEAC. After getting the compliance report, SEAC shall conduct a field inspection to confirm the compliance of observations made. 2. Revised Scheme of Mining approved by Department of Mining & Geology for the next 5yearswith details such as total geological reserve, mineable reserve, total quantity extracted till date, remaining mineable reserves, year wise production plan, etc 3. Project Proponent shall produce Certificate of Compliance Report from Regional Office, MoEF&CC, Bangalore, recent Cluster Certificate from Mining and Geology Department, Hazard Zonation Map showing the distance from the project area and any other document pending submission as required by SEAC during the appraisal of revalidation proposal 4. The decision of SEIAA shall be conveyed to SEAC and Project Proponent for urgent necessary follow up action.
