A complaint has been received and 101st Authority decided to forward the complaint to the Director, Mining & Geology and the District Collector concerned for enquiry and report. Copy of the letter along with copy of the complaint may also be forwarded to the District Geologist for necessary follow up action. The 123rd SEAC Committee Committee scrutinised the additional documents and decided to invite the proponent for presentation. The 124th SEAC Meeting Committee decided to recommend to the SEIAA to direct the proponent to comply with some condition within six months and on satisfactory submission of the compliance report of the above, the proponent will be eligible for revalidation of EC order with the project life of eight years from the date of issuance of the first EC order. The 112th SEIAA Meeting Authority decided the following: 1. Project Proponent has submitted a letter dated 12th September 20121 with a request to reconsider the Project life estimated by SEAC giving some reasons. Authority decided to forward the letter to SEAC for examination and take a decision on the period of Project life with sufficient justification. 2. It is seen that the Director, Mining & Geology vide Letter No.1635/M4/2020 dated.28.04.2021 has submitted a report of the joint inspection conducted on 25.06.2020 at Rudra Granites based on the direction of Hon’ble High Court in WP(C) No.9940 of 2020. A copy of the report may be made available SEIAA/SEAC for perusal before revalidation of EC period after obtaining a suitable recommendation from SEAC. 3. It is seen that the Project site is located within 6.398 KMs from Peechi Vazhani wild life sanctuary. Project Proponent should produce a proof for having applied for wild life clearance from NBWL |
