Shri.Devasya Moolayil,Wayanad,has submitted a petition Dtd 28/03/2019 in SEIAA on 5/4/2019 against alleged illegal and rampant Granite Quarrying by M/s Pulppally stone crushers owned by Shri.Binoj.K.Baby. Authority (91st) decided to conduct a comprehensive enquiry by the District Geologist. The District Geologist submitted his report dt.05.08.2019 in which he has stated that he has noticed certain violations and he has given directions to the quarry owner to rectify the same and same have been attended. The 119th SEAC considered the proposal for revalidation as per the Judgment dated.02.11.2020 in WP(C) No.17533/2020 and 23 other cases. The Proponent and Consultant were present. the RQP made the presentation, The Committee decided to examine the file further. The 120th SEAC deferred for field inspection. The 123rd SEAC Meeting Committee discussed the Field Inspection Report in this regard and decided to recommend to the SEIAA to direct the proponent to comply with the some conditions within six months and on satisfactory submission of the compliance report of the above, the proponent will be eligible for revalidation of EC order with the project life of thirteen years from the date of issuance of the first EC order subject to review every five years. The 112th SEIAA Meeting Authority decided to consider the EC revalidation proposal recommended by SEAC. |
